Short answer

Call `GET /v1/robinhood/tokens?list=top_market_cap&min_market_cap_usd=100000&clean=true`. It ranks tokens traded in the last 30 days by `market_cap_usd` (price × circulating supply), leaves out prices from thin markets, and `clean=true` removes tokens with too few holders, rugs and insider launches. Use `max_market_cap_usd` for a range. Anonymous plan.

`top_market_cap` ranks Robinhood Chain tokens by market cap: the token’s USD price times its circulating supply. Only tokens traded in the last 30 days are ranked, and prices that come from thin markets don’t count. Market cap is still the easiest number to fake on a new chain, so the useful call combines a minimum (`min_market_cap_usd`) with the quality checks (`clean=true`).

-   MJDQ (`0x124597e2d8bbe472825c4918a36de246ed0c92f7`) is first with `market_cap_usd: 1001391399`. It has `holders: 4`, $3,795.38 of liquidity and one trade of $132.15 in 24 hours. A price of $1.00 on a billion tokens is all it takes.
-   Let’s End AI (`0xc882f10529a5518ee3393af5a80e9ff00d38d44b`) is second at $890.9 million. It is the honeypot from [Detect a honeypot](https://docs.crius.sh/guides/detect-honeypot/): 189 buys and `sells["24h"]: 0`.

-   All three tokens from the first example are gone. The top is now Pons (PONS, `0x39dbed3a2bd333467115de45665cc57f813c4571`) with `market_cap_usd: 193798205`, 104,459 holders, $5,252,526 of liquidity and $9.1 million traded in 24 hours. Its FDV is $288,440,203.
-   Cash Cat (CASHCAT, `0x020bfc650a365f8bb26819deaabf3e21291018b4`) is third at $103,050,175 with 113,911 holders and $5.25 million of 24-hour volume.
-   syrupUSDG (`0x40858070814a57fdf33a613ae84fe0a8b4a874f7`) is second at $121,240,082 with $3,280,741 of liquidity, but it has 142 holders and traded $366 in 24 hours. It passes every check; add `min_volume_usd` if you only want tokens people are trading.

-   `flags` contains `insider_launch`, `risk` is `high` and `score` is 45.
-   `launch.sniper_wallets: 1` and `launch.sniper_supply_pct: 71.223`: one wallet bought 71% of the supply within the first 10 blocks (`sniper_window_blocks: 10`). Whoever holds that much decides the price; the market cap is what it would be worth if they never sold.

## How market cap is computed

| Field | Meaning |
| --- | --- |
| `market_cap_usd` | `price_usd` × circulating supply: total supply minus the balances of the zero address and `0x000000000000000000000000000000000000dEaD` (burned) |
| `fdv_usd` | `price_usd` × total supply |
| `price_usd` | From the token's deepest pool, converted to USD through on-chain ETH and USDG pools |
| `liquidity_usd` | Value of the liquidity behind that price: the number that tells you whether the market cap can be sold into |
| `holders` | Wallets holding the token now |

Ranking rules for `top_market_cap`:

-   Only tokens with a trade in the last 30 days.
-   Prices from thin markets are skipped, so a dust pool can’t push a token to the top. As MJDQ shows, a few thousand dollars of liquidity is not thin enough to be skipped.
-   `min_market_cap_usd` and `max_market_cap_usd` filter on `market_cap_usd`; rows with no market cap are excluded when either is set. Both work on every list, not only this one.

## Use it in your app

1.  **Always send `clean=true`.** The unfiltered ranking is led by tokens nobody holds. The clean one is led by tokens with tens of thousands of holders.
    
2.  **Set a liquidity floor that matches the market cap.** A $10 million token with $5,000 of liquidity can’t be sold at that price. `min_liquidity_usd` filters it out.
    
3.  **Use a range for small-cap screens.** `min_market_cap_usd=100000&max_market_cap_usd=1000000` gives the band most screeners call “small caps”.
    
4.  **Show FDV next to market cap.** The gap is the burned supply. Locked and vesting tokens still count as circulating here; the [token profile](https://docs.crius.sh/guides/market-cap-fdv-and-supply/) breaks them out.

A big number is not a safe token

`clean=true` removes rugs, thin holder bases and insider launches, but not honeypots that hide behind real holders. Run [`/security`](https://docs.crius.sh/guides/token-security-score/) on any token before you trade it.

## Frequently asked questions

**What are the biggest tokens on Robinhood Chain by market cap?**

Call `GET https://api.crius.sh/v1/robinhood/tokens?list=top_market_cap&clean=true` for the live ranking. In the sample on this page the top three clean tokens were Pons (PONS) at $193.8 million, syrupUSDG at $121.2 million and Cash Cat (CASHCAT) at $103.1 million.

**Why does a token with 4 holders have a $1 billion market cap?**

Market cap is price × circulating supply, and anyone can mint a billion tokens and trade one at $1. Crius doesn't rank prices from thin markets, but a few thousand dollars of liquidity is enough to set a price. Add `clean=true` (20+ holders, $1,000+ liquidity, no crash or insider launch) and a `min_liquidity_usd` that fits your users.

**What's the difference between market\_cap\_usd and fdv\_usd?**

`market_cap_usd` uses the circulating supply: the total supply minus tokens burned to the zero address or `0x000000000000000000000000000000000000dEaD`. `fdv_usd` uses the total supply. In the samples, PONS has a $193.8 million market cap and a $288.4 million FDV.

**How do I find tokens between $100k and $1M market cap?**

Pass both bounds: `/v1/robinhood/tokens?list=top_market_cap&min_market_cap_usd=100000&max_market_cap_usd=1000000&clean=true`. The bounds also work on the other lists, for example `list=new&min_market_cap_usd=50000` for new tokens that already passed $50k.

**Which tokens are included in top\_market\_cap?**

Tokens with at least one trade in the last 30 days and a price that doesn't come from a thin market. Tokens that stopped trading drop out even if their last price was high.
